TBEX: Our First Blogging Conference Experience
During our planning process we started following lots of travel blogs and reading up on what other people were doing. One thing that kept coming up was TBEX. It stands for Travel Blog Expo and is the biggest meeting of travel bloggers in the world. Once we found out it was going to be in Athens during our time in Europe we knew we had to go. So far, it has been one of the best decisions we made!
Not only did we get to see another beautiful country, but we met some amazing people, made new friends, learned a ton, and came away inspired for 30 Day Locals.
Of course everyone loved Eleanor and she was a big hit on the first day of the conference. Brett and I took turns throughout the day. One of us would watch her while the other went to a breakout session. While she was running around we were often able to strike up a conversation with other bloggers, some of them had kids with them too. There were also plenty of activities to keep her occupied.
We enjoyed a Greek coffee break (Eleanor had water):
We took pictures in a photo booth (can't you just imagine us out at sea!):
We posed in front of a large green screen:
And we napped when it all got to be too much:
